This document contains the General Terms and Conditions governing the access to and use of this application. Please read through them carefully.
These General Terms and Conditions of access and use supplement the General Terms and Conditions described in the App Store (Apple) and in Google Play (Google) and that apply in full.
The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions of access and use is to define the features and terms of use for Mobility Assist, a free application available for download from the App Store and Google Play.
Note that in the event of non-compliance with these General Terms and Conditions of access and use, certain features may not be function as intended.
The services provided via the application are also accessible from outside Belgium.
You will be liable for any misuse and/or abuse of the features and services, and any costs incurred due to improper use will be charged to you.
This Preamble is an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of access and use.
- Changes to the General Terms and Conditions
AG Insurance reserves the right to adapt the General Terms and Conditions of use and access, of which the latest version in force may be viewed by you on this page, at any time and before any use.
Your continued use of the application after any such changes have been made will constitute your irrevocable acceptance of the new General Terms and Conditions.
You have the option not to use or access (or continue to use or access) the application if you do not agree to the version of the General Terms and Conditions applicable on the date in question.

- Required equipment and software
To be able to use the application, you will need a mobile phone or a compatible portable device, an Internet connection and the minimum required specifications ("Software Requirements").
The Software Requirements are as follows: iOS9 or higher for Apple devices, and version 4.1 or higher for Android devices.
The application software may be upgraded order to add new features and new services.
- Application content
The information and materials contained in this application are provided for information purposes only and should not be construed as an offer for insurance or other products and/or services.
AG Insurance will painstakingly check the information available via this application on a regular basis. This information and the materials in the application are therefore subject to change.
However, AG Insurance can offer no guarantee with regard to the accuracy, appropriateness, completeness, timeliness or ownership, for a particular objective, of the information and materials offered by the application, on the website references, or with regard to the reliability and trustworthiness of their sources.
AG Insurance cannot be held liable for any damage due to access, viewing or use of the information, data, web pages and publications obtained in the application or through the use of interactive applications, unless it can be established that there has been gross negligence or a malicious act.
We remind you that using your telephone while driving is strictly prohibited. AG Insurance disclaims all liability in the event of an accident due to the use of the application.
- Availability of the application
While AG Insurance strives to provide continuity of service, it cannot guarantee that access to the application and the services will be uninterrupted.
AG Insurance makes every effort to preserve the security of its systems. It reserves the right to temporarily suspend the services or any part of the content at any time, with or without notice to you, for maintenance purposes or to run updates. You will not be entitled to claim any compensation whatsoever from AG Insurance should it exercise such rights.
AG Insurance cannot be held liable if for any reason the application and its features are unavailable at any time or for any period, for example due to a malware attack or poor or non-existent coverage by your mobile network operator.
Without prejudice to any additional damage that may be claimed, AG Insurance also reserves the right to prohibit, at any time and without prior notice, access to all or part of the application's services to any user for the following reasons: non-compliance with these General Terms and Conditions of use, use of the application for illegal or immoral purposes or for any activity that damages the integrity, security or reputation of the application.
- Intellectual property rights
The information, web pages, publications and data featured in this application are protected by intellectual property rights belonging to AG Insurance or to third parties. It is your responsibility to uphold these rights. This information and these materials may be exploited and printed for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided you do not remove the references to intellectual property and other rights. Without the express prior written permission of AG Insurance, you may not distribute, reproduce, sell or transfer the information and materials in any form or by any means.
- Cookies
The application uses cookies, i.e. small text files stored in your smartphone's internal memory. Cookies do not contain any personal data; they are used to personalise and enhance your next visit to our application. For example, a cookie may remember your preferred language, which saves you the trouble of having to select it each time you use the application. You can always change your browser settings to block cookies. Note, however, that if you choose not to accept our cookies, some parts of our application may not function as intended.
- Personal data protection and privacy
When you download the application and use the services available through the application, you are prompted to enter personal information about yourself (such as your surname, first name, e-mail address, etc.).
AG Insurance and its partners are committed to protecting your privacy when it comes to collecting and processing your personal data. A summary of our principles and practices has been provided below.
As the data controller, AG Insurance collects and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 and all other applicable Belgian data privacy regulations.
This data may be disclosed to your insurance broker, the assistance services provider and/or to third parties, provided that such disclosure is in the parties' legitimate interest. This data may also be disclosed to any party or public authority pursuant to a court or administrative order or other legal obligation to do so.
You authorise us as well as any third parties privy to this information to process it within the context of the application and its stated purpose. You also allow us and these third parties to use this personal data in aggregate form to compile statistics and draft reports.
Within the limits of the applicable legislation, you have the right to inspect all personal data held about you, and to request that it be corrected or deleted, at any time. Note, however, that doing so may prevent AG Insurance from fulfilling the purpose described herein.
To exercise these rights, you will need to send a signed, written request to this effect along with a double-sided copy of your national identity card by ordinary mail to AG Insurance, Data Protection Officer, 53 boulevard Emile Jacqmain, 1000 Brussels, or by e-mail to AG_DPO@aginsurance.be.
10. Available features
This function allows you to call our assistance service in the event of an accident, breakdown or theft. Report your incident using the application; it will be processed as a priority. Track the status of your intervention and view the patrol car on the map.
This function advises you on the steps you need to take and the right reflexes to have in the event of an accident.

11. Geolocation
You also agree with the geolocation system. With this function, your personal data as well as your location will be automatically transmitted to our central office when calling and to our Touring Club assistance provider.

Some of the features of the application store personal data or files.
Any such information and files belong to you and are subject to intellectual property rights as described in item 7.
- Termination of use
You may discontinue using the application by deleting or uninstalling it from your device(s) at any time.

- Governing law and jurisdiction
- The rights and obligations are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes involving this application will falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.
